Sales representatives are responsible for communicating the benefits of a company's products in order to drive sales. Sales reps serve as the point of contact between a business and its prospects or clients and have a range of responsibilities including identifying and educating prospective customers while supporting existing clients with information and assistance that relates to products and services. Qualifications often include strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as a Bachelor's degree in business or related fields.

Building and sustaining long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers based within an assigned sales territory.

Traveling within an assigned sales territory to conduct face-to-face meetings with existing and potential customers.

Continually meeting or exceeding sales targets by selling company products to new and existing customers.

Developing and implementing an effective sales strategy to drive sales.

Explaining and demonstrating features of company products

Maintaining an accurate record of all leads, customer accounts, and sales.

Collaborating with the marketing department to expand brand presence through the creation of suitable marketing materials.

Researching competitors' products and pricing as well as market conditions.

Keeping abreast of the latest industry developments by attending meetings, training workshops, and industry events.

Keeping up with product and service information and updates.

Strategically negotiating with potential and existing customers to close sales.

Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on leads.

High school diploma

Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field is preferred.

Minimum 2 years of working experience in a sales field (preferable to those who have working experience in Auto Parts, Construction Materials)

Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.

Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
